The super computer must be run
I woke up to the sound of my alarm and the Vancouver rain, today was the day. I slipped on my neural interface and received several notification, just Friends and Family wishing me luck on my journey, and some messages via the quantum router with status updates from LCC-15 on pluto, my new employers.
I quickly put on my clothes, instructed Friday to get my bags to the luggage transport and headed down to the train station for the first leg of journey. After a couple of hours I arrived at the Death Valley launch site and met some of my new co-workers. Some of the very best QC engineers on earth, being sent to manage the largest quantum super computer made by humanity at LCC-5.
We all got on board the orbital shuttle and flew up to Orbital Space Port 12 and where loaded on to a mid range craft on a path for pluto, a 5 hour journey traveling at effective C2. I used the qr to follow up with friends, do some work, and check out some deep space vacation spots that this new job could afford.
We arrived at Pluto Orbital station 2 and took, a shuttle down to the surface and started getting are apartments set up. I had some issues getting my qr set up, but Friday was able to contact Starlink and get everything sorted out.
I start work in 2 days, for now I’m going to get some shut eye. Travel can really take it out of you.
